Held in a deep blue cut glass vessel, that appears as if it's rippling water, crafted from 100% coconut wax, each candle is double wicked, is hand‑blended and hand‑poured in Tairāwhiti — the first place where the sun and moon rise in the whole world. Every vessel carries the mauri of the East Coast: renewal, clarity, and the knowing that beginnings start here.

Infused with Lemongrass, Ylang Ylang, and Vanilla, Dannii‑Kay balances strength with softness, helping you reset your whare, your hinengaro, organise your space, and ignite creative spark needed to move forward.

All Kia Kaha Māmā candles are ritually infused with karakia during creation. Your personal karakia is included with your purchase for ritual use.

Please note, this purchase is only for the candle and does not include the journals or Maewa candle.

Our candles are ritual vessels, hand‑blended and hand‑poured in Tairāwhiti, created for personal spiritual use and cosmological practice. For this reason, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

To be eligible for assessment under the Consumer Guarantees Act, your candle must be:

Unlit

Unused

In its original condition

If your candle arrives faulty or damaged, we will happily replace it in accordance with the CGA.

Shipping Damage

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please do not accept or open the box. Damaged packaging must be refused at delivery so the courier can return it to us for inspection.

Once a damaged parcel has been opened, we are unable to accept it as a return.

Important Notes

We do not accept returns for change of mind, scent preference, or ritual suitability.

We do not accept returns for candles that have been lit, used, or altered.

We do not accept returns for candles damaged after delivery has been accepted.
